PORTLAND, Ore. -- The family of a 10-month-old Troutdale, Oregon, child filed a Salmonella lawsuit against Cargill Meat Solutions Tuesday, alleging that the child is one of more than 107 nationwide who became seriously ill with an antibiotic-resistant Salmonella Heidelberg infection linked to ground turkey produced by the food giant. The lawsuit was filed in Oregon Federal District Court in Portland by Seattle-based food safety law firm Marler Clark.
The family’s attorney, Bill Marler, says Cargill owes it to the family to take responsibility for its actions. “Most of us cannot fathom the helplessness of watching as a 10-month-old fights it out with a life-threatening illness,” said Marler, who has litigated numerous foodborne illness cases against Cargill. “No one expects to celebrate their daughter’s first birthday by blowing out the candles and wishing for no long-lasting effects of Salmonella.”Here's something to try, if the walls are just one color -- even white -- you can quickly brighten and totally change the room by just adding eye catching prints with images of flowers or animals. If you have to work with existing elements, such as wallpaper borders, try to find a bedding set that will incorporate some of those colors to create a unified look.“The fact that a company with this type of track record gets to continue playing Russian Roulette with people’s lives ought to offend every one of us,” added Marler, who earlier this year resolved the case of Stephanie Smith, a Minnesota woman who became paralyzed after eating an E. coli-contaminated Cargill hamburger in 2007.When you're going to use paisley in your daughter's room, it's a good idea to begin by doing an online search using the keywords pink and brown baby girl bedding (http://www.babybeddingzone.com/girl-baby-bedding/). As there are a lot of available paisley designs to choose from, you will find it very hard to choose just one of these for your little princess! For a uniquely modern look, add sophistication to the fun in baby's nursery and enhance the room's decor with one of Jo Jo Designs' awe inspiring paisley bedding collections.
